About Us
Who are we
We are a small Christian community which is made up various faith backgrounds. We are firmly rooted in the Bible which is the "Word of God" and we love to enjoy the Christian journey together. Our Members like to serve our community with special events throughout the year and we have been a Baptist Church in the Town of Allan for over 40 years.
What is our confession?
- We believe that reading the Bible and talking to God (Prayer) is walking with Jesus Daily and seeking his presence.
- We believe that the word of God has the power to transform lives because it has the ability to discern the intentions of our heart. (mind, will and desires)
- We believe that God came and died on the cross for ordinary people with non-perfect lives.
- We believe that God established our church to love the person and not always condone their actions. For all have fallen short of God's perfect standard.
- We Believe that faith and love are not static positions we hold but dynamic actions we commit each day toward others.
Our faith
- We value that everyone is made in the image of God and therefore should be accepted and respected.
- We value that the Christian life is about relationship, not religion. Gods seeks a daily connection with us through his words found in the Bible and conversation with us : prayer.
- We value that all people have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect plan in creation. But God has made us whole through our faith and trust in His word (Bible) and His Son Jesus Christ.
- We value that the church is made up of imperfect people that seek to journey through life together and inspire each other to live authentic God seeking lives.
- We value the uniqueness of each person that God has created. Each person has a place in the body of Christ which has its local express as Allan Baptist Church. We all have spiritual gifts given to us for the common good of our body which help us to grow and mature in our service to one another.

Our involvement
Our desire as a church is love each person in our community and find and develop opportunities to encourage and serve them through one on one and group event and projects. We also support Teen Challenge Men's Centre and Prairie Hope Women's Centre and Allan Community Food Bank.
Children Summer Bible Program
Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
